Meagan Michi

In my former work-at-home life, I was a seamstress and business owner, creating tiny cloth diapers and boutique children's clothing. After seven years of great success, I decided to take a new route and began writing. To say I haven't looked back would be an understatement. While I miss the creativity of designing and sewing, I also get a great deal of satisfaction from telling others what's on my mind. I was always good at that anyway.

I have a two spunky daughters, ages three and nine. They're beautiful, happy and wildly intelligent, thank God. I'm also a single mom, and better for it. When I'm not writing, I spend my time cooking, picking up toys, folding navy and white polo shirts and devising a plan that will enable me to make homemade buttercream frosting. 

I've spent the majority of my writing career writing for other people. While clients pay the bills just fine, they also dictate the subject matter. I'm looking forward to HubPages as a way to choose my own topics, write about what I love and hopefully make lots of money doing it.
